ARP Act ESSER III

In March 2021, the American Rescue Plan Act, also known as the ARP Act, was signed into law. This grant is known as ARP Act ESSER III. The intent and purpose of the ARP Act ESSER III education funding is to help safely reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impact of the coronavirus on students.

In July 2021, Rêve Preparatory Charter School will apply to receive our allocation of the ARP Act ESSER III funds. These funds will be used to address the impact that COVID-19 has had, and continues to have, on our school.

In order to determine our plan for the use of ESSER III funds, the district engaged in timely and meaningful consultation with stakeholders through surveys which allowed for public input, and to determine and prioritize needs. Feedback was solicited from the following stakeholder groups: parents, teachers, other campus-level staff, district level-staff, and the Board of Directors.

Rêve Preparatory Charter School will utilize its ARP Act ESSER III funds to address issues that have risen due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With the ARP Act ESSER III funds, Rêve Preparatory Charter School is required, by statue, to set aside 20% of their total allocation, to address learning loss and to develop two plans: Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan and Use of Funds Plan. These plans are linked below and will be reviewed and revised as necessary every six months, if not completed sooner.
